Some insulation is so dirty and contaminated it must be removed.

(Whether you like it or not, the attic is part of the house.)

BPS uses a powerful 9 HP vacuum to remove all the existing attic insulation leaving a clean attic.

Our staff does a DETAILED VACUUM JOB plus remove all the debris left in the attic over the years.

ATTIC DEBRIS can get pretty extreme over the years.

“I have seen some horrific conditions in Florida attics. Between the dirt, construction debris, mold, and rodent droppings attics can get pretty scary and unhealthy. ”

Dirty Insulation

Years of exposure to outside air puts lots of dust on top of your insulation which slowly filters down into your house. If ducts are leaking the pollutants are drawn into the AC system and the indoor air quality is compromised.

Pollen & Pollutants

Especially for those sensitive to pollen, years of pollen residue have been deposited on the attic’s insulation.

Rodent Infestation

Small animals are able to enter most attics fairly easily.  According to the CDC, accumulated rodent urine and feces are highly toxic to humans.  Eliminating rodent egress is another service we offer.

Compressed Insulation

Insulation (especially cellulose) compresses over the years reducing its ability to insulate.

Disrupted Insulation

Insulation is often moved by trades people, critters, and homeowners and not put back into place.  This creates areas that don’t have any insulation creating perfect conditions for condensation and mold (hot humid outside air meeting cold dry air conditioned air).
