Pressurize and smoke test all HVAC ducts. Repair leaks as needed with 50 year mastic. -
Inspect attic to see if any if the exhaust vents are disconnected and repair as needed.

In a study of energy-efficient measures, DOE’s Energy Information Administration reported that sealing the ducts yielded by far the greatest energy savings of the 12 measures studied, at the lowest cost. A study of 24 Florida homes found air-conditioning energy use was reduced by 18% after duct repairs were made.
